The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

After leaving Penn State in the summer of 1999, I entered the field of education. I spent two years in Dublin, Ohio, teaching third and fourth grade. In 2001, I married Rebecca Anderson, a 2000 Elementary Education graduate from Penn State. We met at the Arts Festival in the summer of 1995. After marrying, we moved to North Carolina and spent a year teaching in the Newton-Conover School District. Next, it was back to Ohio to teach at Watkins Middle School where I have been teaching sixth grade math since 2002. We currently reside in Pataskala, Ohio with our dog, Fitz. I have also been involved in coaching wrestling along the way. I am currently going into my fifth year as the head wrestling coach at Watkins Memorial High School. One of my favorite memories are the summers at Penn State. There was no competition or training schedules to adhere to and classes if taken were laid back and only a small part of the day. During the Arts Festival friends came back to enjoy a few days of good weather and fun.
